This policy covers the Verified Truth Alexa skill and the services at verifiedgreen.ai operated by Arcane Solutions, LLC ("we," "us"). It is written to be read, not to be survived.
What we receive
Your question. The text of what you ask, as transcribed by Amazon. We do not receive or store audio recordings — Amazon's own privacy policy governs the recording itself.
An anonymous user identifier. Amazon supplies a per-skill user ID. It is not your name, your email, or your Amazon login. We hash it with SHA-256 before it is written anywhere, and we never store it in its original form — not in our database, not in our logs. The hash lets us count your daily verified answers without knowing who you are.
Operational measurements. Which AI models were consulted, how much they agreed, how confident the result was, how long it took, and whether the answer was served in verified or standard mode.
What we do not collect
We do not ask for or store your name, email address, postal address, phone number, payment details, contacts, location, or Amazon account credentials. We request no Alexa permissions. There is no account to create and no login.
Why we hold it
- To enforce the free daily limit of three verified answers per user, which requires counting.
- To produce the answer itself, which requires sending your question to AI models.
- To measure and improve accuracy — our engine's entire purpose is knowing when it might be wrong, and that requires records of when it was.
- To detect abuse and keep the service running.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use your questions to train our own models.
Third parties
To produce a verified answer we transmit your question to multiple independent AI model providers through the OpenRouter API. Those providers process the question under their own terms and privacy policies. We transmit only the question text — never the hashed identifier, and never anything linking a question to a person.
Our infrastructure runs on Vercel (application hosting) and Neon (database), both in the United States.
Sensitive information
Please don't say things to a voice assistant you wouldn't want processed by a third party. If your question contains health, financial, or otherwise sensitive details, that text is transmitted to model providers as described above.
Verified Truth is a consumer service. It is not covered by a HIPAA Business Associate Agreement and must not be used to transmit protected health information.
Where our systems handle content flagged as sensitive, we apply additional protection: such content is held in volatile memory and is not committed to permanent storage, and any associated audit record stores a one-way hash rather than the content itself.
How long we keep it

Your choices
Disabling the skill in the Alexa app stops all collection immediately.
Because we hold no identifying information, we cannot look you up by name or email. If you want your records deleted, contact us and we will explain how to supply the identifier needed to locate them.
If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you rights to know what personal information is collected, to request its deletion, to correct it, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA. To exercise any right, contact us below.
If you are in the EEA or UK, our lawful basis is legitimate interest in operating and improving the service, and you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction.
Children
Verified Truth is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has used the skill and you want the associated records removed, contact us.
Not professional advice
Verified Truth is a research aid. "Verified" means several AI models were consulted and their agreement measured — it does not mean an answer is correct. Models can agree and still be wrong. Nothing it says is medical, legal, or financial advice. For those, consult a qualified professional.
Security
We use encrypted transport, hashed identifiers, and least-privilege access. No system is perfectly secure, and we won't claim otherwise.
Changes
We'll update the date at the top when this changes. Material changes will be summarized here rather than buried.
